  1. Bluey

When I first started watching Bluey, I liked it! And when I watched Season 2, episode 26 of Bluey, "Sleepytime," I fell madly in love. When life is completely overwhelming, I know this show is always a happy little corner of the world. At one point, "Sleepytime" was the highest-rated Television episode of all time on IMDb, beating out even the top-rated episodes of Breaking Bad. Bluey is an experience for people of all ages with the potential to melt the steeliest of hearts. The greatest part is that episodes are available on YouTube, free to watch.

  2. The Office

The Office has followed me in life. When I saw my parents watching it growing up, I couldn't follow the humor very well, though I tried. My first official watch-through was in high school, and I appreciated the humor very much. Nowadays, I still flip on episodes on the TV, and I'm looking forward to purchasing the entire show soon. These days, I can still appreciate the characters and their unique development in the show, the lighthearted humor, and Jim and Pam's slow-burn romance.

  3. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

This show is pretty appealing to me as a woman with Jewish heritage; I loved the representation and having a chance to learn more about aspects of Judaism. That aside, the show is hardly "religious" at all; it's primarily about comedy. I think the production behind the show is so appealing, and the cast is thoughtful and refreshing. I enjoyed watching it every Saturday night for a long time, and it left a hole I'm still trying to fill since I stopped.

  4. Love on the Spectrum

I didn't know how invested I'd become in the lives of the Love on the Spectrum cast when I watched it. It's just a truly refreshing and even comforting show to watch. Although reality television, it tends to stay on the positive side while enlightening lived realities of special needs families. I'm already looking forward to the new season on the way, and I'm glad to see it winning all these awards.

  5. Schitt's Creek

Like many, Schitt's Creek came into my life during the peak of the Cornavirus crisis. I can't count how many times I've seen it. The humor of the show is unlike any other show, so it's hard to compare it to anything else. It just covers so much emotional and humorous range that it's so easy to continue returning to. Also, it's so quotable, some of the dialogue sticks in my brain like glue!

  6. Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra

These are also some I've rewatched many times. The cast practically is my own family, having watched it so many times, and they are too lovable. I saw most of the first show when it came out, and I was about nine or ten. With its return to Netflix, I've had the chance to dive back in. The wisdom of the show has aged well, and I'll bet it's worth coming back to for the times to come. When I watch it, I have to skip certain tear-jerker episodes, like "Appa's Lost Days," about the main character's animal getting lost.

  7. Great British Bake Off

Those who know me know I'm not the best cook in the world, but what ever improvements I'm making might be owed to watching this show. I enjoy casually watching this series in the background, especially during the holidays when theres nothing much else to do but cook and watch TV. I have no idea what extent of the show is real, honestly, but I enjoy it regardless. For an even more comforting, lighthearted vibe, I can switch to the Kid's version of the show!

  8. Call The Midwife

I truly loved this show, it touched my heart and reminded me of childhood days watching childbirth specials with my mother. I learned so many history lessons watching this show and fell in love with all the characters. I watch it from time to time, but it's at the end of the list because it is pretty heavy on the drama (and intense childbirth scenes...) at times.
