10. "Beyond," Daft Punk
This is one of Daft Punk's underappreciated songs with a positive and uplifting message.
9. "Young Blood," The Naked and Famous
I feel like no other song captures the feeling of my teenage years and the 2010s era so well as this song and the band.
8. "Both Sides Now," Joni Mitchell
This song came into my life during an apt moment.
7. "You Gotta Be," Des'ree
It just snuck its way into my heart, this song, and always tugs at my heartstrings when I play it.
6. "I Remember," Deadmau5
I used to fall asleep to this song when I couldn't sleep as a young tween, now I associate it with peace and calmness.
5. "Dreams," Fleetwood Mac
4. "Genesis," Grimes
3."The Less I Know the Better," Tame Impala
2. "Second Go," Lights
I've loved the artist Lights since I was a teenager, and I come back to this song regularly. I love the relatable lyrics, I think we all need a "second go" from time to time.
1. "Kids," MGMT
It's pretty hard to tell what all the lyrics mean ultimately, but man, is it a good beat!

This is an approximate list of my top 10 favorite songs! However, it's leaving out favorite songs from a repeated artist, like Tame Impala, Lights, Daft Punk, and Fleetwood Mac, with which I could have clogged up the list with other songs of theirs, like "Let it Happen," "Quiet," "Landslide,""Gypsy," and "Within."
I believe many, if not most of the songs have a nostalgic implication for me, or I heard them at some point during my childhood, and they just "stuck." Many of the artists on the list are also my all-time favorite artists. In the future, I could blog about my favorite artists. I left out some honorable mentions, like Enya's "Orinoco Flow."
